Athleisure is a trend that has been taking the fashion world by storm over the past couple of years; from formal wear with Sneakers, to Trackpants with heels.
Incorporating this trend into your every day looks can sometimes be a little trickier to maneuver (especially for work), so you don’t look like you just came from the gym. I’ve teamed up with a brand new local brand called Sk_y_lr to show you how I styled their Sport Luxe items with my existing wardrobe.
Each piece of the brand is unique, so I wanted to keep everything else toned down. I stuck to neutral palettes to make it easier to replicate the look.
See below on how I styled a different piece for a different setting
DAY AT THE OFFICE
The structural feel of this zip up top works perfect for an office environment. It sticks to Athletic-cool, but with a pair of pants, pointed pump heels and a formal bag, it tones down the sporty feel. I love how it’s high neck, but not stifling!

This item was probably my favourite from all. It’s soft, slouchy, yet still sexy. I love that it’s all black, but the different textures and fabrics come together so beautifully.
I styled it with a nude dress (the top is open on the sides, so it looked gorgeous when walking and you catch a glimpse of the nude dress), nude sneakers and a black and nude bag (super matchy matchy!)

This grey crop top actually comes in handy as cool, sporty cover up! You can pair it with literally anything, from a shirt and jeans for a preppy look, to a dress, like this, for a casual lunch date. It turned an otherwise formal dinner date dress to something wearable during the day.
