part one

This Ramadan has been so different for me. I started off not really wanting to wear a headscarf, feeling torn and uninspired but now towards the end, it’s almost become second nature. Such is the process towards wearing full Hijab: sometimes you feel completely comfortable and other times it feels so foreign.

I think every Muslim woman who isn’t in Hijab contemplates the headscarf at some point. I have collaborated with two local designers (because we should be supporting local!) to bring you a mix of inspiring outfits, some with the headscarf (part one) and some without (part two to be featured tomorrow), with one goal in mind: modest style.

Part one of this series features Hana-K. Her designs are stocked in various local emporiums such as Hse of Bespoke, Earthnut Design store and Designers Lounge.
