There’s a misconception about fashion, and I’ve noted it before, that you have to wear expensive clothing to be stylish. I think, personally, I find that so many people who can afford the utmost luxurious of garments don’t in fact dress all that well. It’s not about what you wear, it’s about how you wear it.
When I started my blog, I used to be so self-conscious about repeating items in outfit posts that I would find the need to go shopping every week. Now, growing up and getting more into blogging and developing my voice, I realized that I aim to inspire the every day woman who just wants to look gorgeous. Most of my clothing items are under R700 from stores like Forever21 or H&M, and I take items and style them in various ways, because that’s what the normal, average person does (I personally usually spend a little more on bags and jackets only). Very few people have never ending rows and rails of shoes and shirts, but that shouldn’t stop you from looking your very best.
