DIY HEART SUGAR CUBES

I must admit, this DIY isn’t mine. I found it on a blog some time back, and can’t seem to find the link.

Regardless, it’s an easy something extra to add to a tea table, and reminds me immensely of something NiQi would have on her High Tea table!

What you need:

  • Silicone ice tray in desired shape
  • Half cup sugar
  • Water

Combine the sugar with teaspoonfuls of water, until you get a pasty consistency. You want the paste to be somewhat dry, else the cube will fall apart!

Press firmly into tray. I filled mine all the way up to the top because that was around 1 teaspoonful. You could fill yours half way up.

Freeze for a few hours, then leave out for at least an hour. And you’re done! Cutest culinary DIY
