It’s no secret that collars are big (and glitzy, and embellished, and detachable) this year.

I personally adore them (partly because it means less, ahem, assets on display). If your shirt is collarless, you could always make a detachable one (see my tutorial here). But if it already has a collar? You don’t need to commit to revamping the entire thing, simply use… wait for it… earrings!

I upcycled these from old chandelier earrings that were missing stones. I simply removed the hanging part!

My sister, Nazmira, bought these from Sass Diva a while ago, but they’re a staple, so check there if you like. Use contrasting colours to make your collar jewels pop!

Try out different shapes and sizes! I upcycled these swallows from broken earrings as well. Gold always looks classy!
